The third fundraising quarter is in the books — sounds like a perfect time to talk about the need for campaign finance reform.

Cute video, but how much of this money actually came from Minnesotans and how much from Hollywood friends?

Do people in Minnesota really want a “parachute” candidate who has spent the last 20 years living in New York?

Al says he’s always been against the war. Why did once he says he was for it? (search!)

Several commenters say he is ahead in the polls, but the most recent poll shows him 10 points behind.

After Jesse Ventura, are you sure you want another “novelty candidate?”

Franken please stand up for people like us. Since your friend Wellstone died, there was been a serious lack of true progressive candidates representing us.

Al, you have supporters from all over the nation. I’m in Virginia and have contributed to your campaign. Keep doing what you’re doing and spread your positive message. We don’t need a Bush rubber-stamp machine like we have in Norm Coleman, we need an intelligent leader like we’ll have in Al Franken.

Way to go, Al! Your approval rating is on the rise and you have outpaced Normy-boy again. They downplay you, but I know they are getting nervous. You are a comedian loaded with a whole bunch of VERY good ideas, serious ideas. People ideas.

Way to take a stand against special interest money, Al. I’m sure you’ll be refusing campaign money from the AFL-CIO, ATLA and CWA.

It will be so good to have you as our Senator.
