76 books have been donated to the raffle so far but I’m having trouble getting people to join the fun. Any ideas for how to get the word out an encourage people to buy tickets?

How do I do it, and what Legal boilerplate do I include? “Void where prohibited” covers most since many states and countries buy these on ebay. My state has a lottery so raffles are ok.

My idea is to have a raffel, and sell tickets for a $100.00 until I reach the price I want for the house. So, I get the money I wanted out of the raffle and someone gets a house for a $100.00 dollars. Can this be done legally?

And if you think a lottery is just for money, there was a “draft lottery” back in the 70’s. Also they hold lotteries for limited permits to raft the grand canyon.
