Depends how many tickets they think will be sold.

This is something not as in demand as a year ago at this time. You can find a Wii available with minor running around.

Generally in Raffles the rule of thumb is the prize is valued at half of the total money raised.

I suggest you add about $100 more to the prize, making the total value $500.

You can then sell 1000 tickets with 1 number or 500 $2 tickets with 2 numbers.

With the 1000 number system the raffle can be done on your states daily 3 number for a certain date.

All not too hard to raise $500

you need to check with your jurisdiction’s gaming regulation body. depending on where you live, you may need a licence to run the raffle and there may be a minimum/maximum number of tickets to sell. in my jurisdiction for example, if the prize was worth more than $2000 (and a wii is not) i would have to be licensed. also, depending on the laws of your jurisdiction, you as an individual may be prohibited from holding a raffle as they are normally done by charities and non profit organisations
